There are a couple of restaurants too however on our visit in early 2012 the Mooloolaba Wharf is not the busy place it used to be. All the action seems to have moved to the Esplanade and the Spit. However, the Wharf is conveniently located between the Esplanade and the Spit and easy to visit.
Don't miss Underwater World - not just a fabulous aquarium but a place where you can swim with the seals and dive with the sharks.
The Spit is at the Point Cartwright end of Mooloolaba Beach - along Parkyn Parade. You can walk from the Mooloolaba main beach to the Spit in just 20 minutes - along the beach or the beachside pathway.
The Spit is the place to eat fresh seafood, enjoy fish and chips, relax on the beach and to enjoy the views.
There are some fabulous apartments along Parkyn Parade.
Don't miss a trip up to the Hinterland. You will enjoy gorgeous views of the Glasshouse Mountains and the coastline.
